PENTA Internal School Inspection (ISI) - Part 2 (May 2017)

    Speaker(s) Colin Dyson
    Provider PENTA International
    Aimed at All Teaching Staff
    School level All
Hosted by: Latifa School for Girls, Country: UAE - Dubai

The course develops further the key skills required to be a successful inspector of your own department or school. These include revision of part 1 of the course (preparation for the inspection, the processes involved seeking evidence. including lesson observations and interviews with colleagues & students, and writing reports that will help your department, year group, key stage and/or school develop further) and then goes into more detail about the process of analysing evidence and of writing critically, positively and accurately.

This is part 2 of a course aimed at sharpening your inspecting skills in your own school –it is focussed on YOUR school. It provides the final skills to help you improve the quality of education being provided in your school, as well being invaluable for those seeking accreditation or preparing for inspection.

Like part 1, the training is assessed, and as such, there will be an examination at the end of the course. Those passing the course will receive a certificate of completion from Penta International and the BSME. Like part 1, the course is hard work during the day: then there is ‘homework’.
