    Provider OSIRIS Education
Aimed at Secondary - Geography & History Teachers
    School level Secondary
Hosted by: Qatar International School, Country: Qatar

This course aims to brief delegates on the key changes to the Geography / History Curriculum (New GCSE's, new freedoms at Key Stage 3 and expectations regarding assessment - Key Stage 3 and Progress 8 at KS4). There will be a focus on planning for progression to cover key skills, concepts and challenge. You will explore approaches to assessment at Key Stage 3 (now that levels have gone) and how to assess for progress using a "level-less" approach at Key Stage 4. The course will also focus on unpicking outstanding practice for the individual lesson through planning for knowledge acquisition, the development of enquiry skills and higher levels of analysis.
