Comments/Description

The Gulf English School opened in 1993 to meet the need for an educational facility which would provide a broad and balanced curriculum based on the English National Curriculum and also offer an Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Programme as authorized by the Qatari Supreme Education Council.

The School is housed in modern purpose-built facilities and the students enjoy the benefits of a co-educational programme up until Year Five and a segregated programme from Year Six onwards.

The curriculum reflects our vision and our mission to raise responsible young citizens. The School broadly follows the English National Curriculum along with Arabic and Islamic studies as prescribed by the Qatari Ministry of Education. Teaching staff are well qualified and are mostly recruited from the UK.
