The British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) is the largest dedicated network of British International Schools in the Middle East. We have more than 100 Member Schools and over a 100 supporting Associate Members (business partners) in the organisation. BSME runs the largest inter-school student event programme in the Middle East, as well as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of over 50 courses per year. Additional services like Recruitment, Annual Conferences and wider representation with educational and governmental organisations are also offered.
The ideal candidate will organise, coordinate and promote the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, at all levels across the region, for BSME schools.
Reporting to the Executive Committee and the Chief Operating Officer, the CPD Coordinator will be a highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment along with outstanding administrative and organisational skills. This role will require you to drive member engagement with one of our key services!
We currently offer a range of CPD services to schools and intend these further next year to meet the needs of our membership. These currently include, amongst others, Conferences, face to face CPD, online training and brokering for schools regarding CPD providers.
You will need to be an excellent writer and communicator with strong English language and IT skills. The ability to prioritise a busy workload is essential. Some travel in the region will be required. A minimum of 4 years work experience is required to apply for this role.
