Opened in 2015, Amity International School is a not-for-profit school staffed almost entirely by UK teachers. Amity International opened its Secondary School in 2017 and has continued to grow one year group at a time. The School will eventually support education for pupils ranging from FS1 to Year 13. At full capacity, it will be capable of supporting 3000 students.

The school has three distinct sections: Foundation, Primary and Secondary but common values of collaboration, togetherness, the celebration of diversity and the inspiration of excellence in all its forms pervade throughout. It also has a strong focus on fostering the development of skills regarded as essential for success in the twenty-first century through a rich co-curriculum. In order to offer a high quality all-round education, the school has been establised with premium facilities to cater for students of all talents.

The school has a wide range of unique state-of-the-art facilities. Most noteworthy being its 400m running track, full size footall pitch, FS and 50m swimming pools, two fully-fitted gyms, tennis, netball and basketball courts, Marine Ecology centre and sailing and water sports boat house, ICT facilities including two Mac suites and computer science lab, climbing wall, music suite and black box theatre. It houses an outstanding auditorium which, with 540 seats, is one of the largest in the city. It also has beautiful glass fronted libraries that overlook its enviable waterside location. As the secondary school grows it will be extending its sport provision to include a further indoor sports hall, a design and technology and creative arts facility and dance studio.

The school offers a broad range of GCSE's and IGCSEs and will open in September 2020 to Year 12.
